Air Caraïbes Atlantique and Air Caraïbes, based in the French West Indies (Guadeloupe and Martinique), are the group’s dedicated units serving France’s overseas destinations. It also has a Paris/Orly-based fleet for its flights to Cuba, Guyana, Dominican Republic, Haiti, and Sint Maarten.

In order to reach these destinations, the company has focused on a pure widebodies fleet featuring three Airbus A330-200s, two Airbus A330-300s, three Airbus A350-900s, and three Airbus A350-1000s, with two more still to be delivered. This is in addition to three ATR 72-600s for its flights among the French Caribbean islands.

Air Caraïbes Atlantique’s new A350 is registered F-HSIS and is configured with 24 seats in Business (Madras), 45 in Premium Economy (Caraïbes), and 360 in Economy (Soleil) and is a long-term lease agreement with Air Lease Corporation.

Meanwhile, the first A350-1000 for FrenchBee received the registration H-FMIX and joins the four A350-900s already owned by the airline. It has a 40-seat configuration in Premium Blue and 448 seats in Eco Blue, making it the airline with the highest density interior of the model.

Like its sister company, FrenchBee has only long-range aircraft and is focused on high-demand destinations without any overlap with Air Caraïbes. It services Reunion Island (in the Indian Ocean); Papeete (French Polynesia); San Francisco, Newark, and Los Angeles in the United States.

«ALC is pleased to announce these two new A350-1000 deliveries to Groupe Dubreuil Aéro and being the first to introduce the aircraft type to FrenchBee,» said Steven F. Udvar-Házy, CEO of Air Lease Corporation. «Air Caraibes Atlantique and FrenchBee are excellent partners who continue to serve markets in France, in the French Caribbean, the southern Indian Ocean, and the Pacific with the world’s3 most technologically advanced and fuel-efficient aircraft,» he concluded.
