    Frontier Airlines announces a new destination to Jamaica from South Florida. Beginning May 5, the low-cost carrier will begin new nonstop service between Miami (MIA) and Kingston (KIN). This is the first time the airline will operate to the Jamaican capital.

    Flights will operate three times a week, Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday on 180-seat Airbus A320 aircraft. The service will be available year-round. Frontier will offer fares starting at US$79.

    • Kingston – Miami FLIGHT F9 176 KIN 09:56 – MIA 13:00

    «Kingston is home to a variety of fascinating tourist sites and rich historical sites, as well as providing easy access to Jamaica’s stunning mountains and beaches. This new service adds to our existing flights to Montego Bay» said Daniel Shruz, senior vice president commercial, Frontier Airlines.

    «Kingston will certainly benefit from the new service and I know our passengers will appreciate the options Frontier opens up. As an airport, we look forward to a great partnership and the ability to offer even more services in the future» said Fernando Vistrain Lorence, chief executive officer of PAC Kingston Airport Ltd.

    In February 2019, Frontier began operations in Jamaica with seasonal service between Philadelphia (PHL) and Montego Bay (MBJ) this route was later discontinued in the wake of the pandemic health crisis.

    On May 28, 2021, the airline resumes operations to Jamaica from Miami (MIA) to Montego Bay (MBJ) and in November adds two more destinations to Orlando (MCO) and Atlanta (ATL) from Sangster International Airport (MBJ).

    For the 2022 summer season, Frontier increases its destination and frequency offerings to Jamaica by 50% over the 2021 winter season.
