Caribbean Airlines resumes Tobago-New York JFK flights

Caribbean Airlines announced that starting May 5 it will resume its direct service to New York JFK, operating its recently incorporated Boeing 737-8.

Caribbean Airlines CEO, Garvin Medera, stated: “In keeping with our promise to Reset Expectations, Caribbean Airlines will re-introduce non-stop service between Tobago and New York JFK.»

«The JFK flights will place 320 additional seats into the market and offer a dual cabin travel experience, linking the diaspora with home and allowing more options for flight connections via JFK”, he concluded.

The carrier announced last March that it would be resuming another key US route: Fort Lauderdale, connecting Port of Spain (POS) and Fort Lauderdale International Airport (FLL) twice a week, starting May 20.

The airline is also working with key stakeholders like the Magdalena Grande Hotel, Tobago to stimulate leisure travel demand and multi-destination tourism.
