JetSMART Perú began operations

This Tuesday (14) at 11:06 a.m. local time, JetSMART Peru’s inaugural flight took off from Jorge Chávez airport in Lima. The new airline’s first operation is to Arequipa in the Airbus A320neo with registration CC-AWJ.

Perú is the third subsidiary of the low cost carrier JetSMART after Chile, its home base, and Argentina.

JetSMART will currently have two Airbus A320neo based in Perú. The company plans to progressively increase its aircraft in the country with the inauguration of the next routes during the remainder of June, July and August.
