    Frontier Airlines is set to open a new non-stop service between Denver (DEN) and Houston – Hobby (HOU) with daily flights, to celebrate this new route the low-cost carrier will offer promotional fares starting at $69 USD each way.

    With this new operation, the airline will offer 13,656 seats per week on 72 flights across six destinations including Austin (AUS), Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW), Houston – Intercontinental (IAH), El Paso (ELP), San Antonio (SAT) and soon William P. Hobby Airport (HOU).

    «We are pleased to announce a new ultra-low fare flight option between Denver and Houston Hobby with daily nonstop service beginning in September,» said Daniel Shurz, senior vice president commercial, Frontier Airlines.

    «There is strong consumer demand for flights between these two destinations and consumers can now enjoy the convenience and affordability of Frontier’s ‘low fares done right,'» Shurz added.

    Frontier Airlines for the 2022/2023 northern winter season will be the fourth largest carrier at William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) with a 2% market share and its largest competitors are Southwest, Delta and American.

    Flight Itinerary

    • Denver – Houston Hobby Flight F9 710 DEN 07:50 – HOU 11:16 flights per day
    • Houston Hobby – Denver Flight F9 711 HOU 12:01 – DEN 13:28 daily flights

    Flights will be operated on Airbus A320 aircraft with a capacity of 186 seats in a single configuration.

    Data compiled by Aviacionline through the U.S. Department of Transportation (DoT) indicates that 780,390 passengers have been mobilized between Denver and Houston from May 2021 and April 2022.

    This new service is Frontier’s third domestic destination from William P. Hobby Airport (HOU), currently the company offers daily flights to Orlando (MCO) and four times a week to Las Vegas (LAS), in addition for the winter season 2022/2023 the airline will resume its only international route at HOU to Cancun (CUN) with three weekly flights operated in Airbus A320neo.

    According to data obtained by Aviacionline through Cirium, Frontier will offer 54,820 seats per week in 290 flight operations to Texas. Its main destinations in the state are Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) and the Houston metropolitan area (IAH/HOU).
