F-22, F-35, Gripen and Eurofighter: Ukraine Air Force openly requests for western fighters
As the war against Russia continues and approximates to its 200th day, Ukraine is still fighting and denying air supremacy to the Russian Air Force.
However, the perspective of a long and hard attrition war is forcing the Ukrainians to request increasing amounts of western materiel to maintain the pressure on the occupancy forces.
The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense has released today a social media campaign called «I have a Dream» in which it expresses its desire of receiving modern fighters currently in stock of western allies:

While there are initiatives to transfer aircraft, none of the allies has discussed to deliver the units Ukraine is requesting. Fear to an escalation that would derive in an all-out war, besides training and operational capability requirements are part of the evaluation, but at this point no measure can be discarded.
What is certain is that Ukraine is not being shy on what it needs to repel the invasor. The question about the West responding to that call remains.
