Ryanair’s Swedish winter schedule will contribute with:

    • 5 aircraft based in Sweden (4 at Stockholm – Arlanda and 1 at Gothenburg Landvetter).
    • An investment of USD 500 million.
    • More than 420 weekly flights.
    • More than 3,000 jobs (including more than 150 direct jobs).

This winter, Ryanair celebrates its first anniversary operating at Stockholm Arlanda Airport (ARN). In one year of presence, the ultra-low-cost operator has invested USD 400 million with 4 aircraft based, generating more than 2,000 local jobs and 2.6 million passengers flown across Europe.

The company will offer its customers in Sweden affordable fares for their travel this winter with promotional fares starting from USD 25 each way for flights between October 22, 2022, to January 23, 2023, already found for booking from the company’s website.

From Stockholm – Arlanda (ARN) it will be the third largest airline operator with 11.4% market share, only surpassed by Scandinavian Airlines and Norwegian.

«The new routes opening this winter from Arlanda to exciting destinations in Europe are an important addition and complement to the airports’ existing offerings. Almost half of the destinations they have launched are new to Arlanda, allowing people to meet and visit their loved ones in even more places in Europe,» said Charlotte Ljunggren, Swedavia’s marketing and sales manager

Their network helps to improve accessibility both within and outside Sweden and the direct lines are important for regional growth and the hospitality industry throughout Sweden. We have had a good partnership with Ryanair for many years and look forward to developing this further in the future,» added Ljunggren.
