Iberia highlights having recovered 95% of its capacity during the third quarter of the year compared to the same period in 2019, and estimates that it will close 2022 at 85%.

Iberia will increase from 14 to 18 weekly flights, that is, it would add a third daily service four times a week starting June 2, 2023, which represents a 12% growth in frequencies compared to 2019. They will be operated on Airbus A350-900 aircraft with capacity for 348 passengers.

However, the company does not plan for the moment to recover its flights to Medellín/Rionegro (MDE), the only destination in Latin America and the Caribbean to which it has not yet returned.
