    In 2002, LAN had regular flights to the United States and Europe from Chile on Airbus A340-300 and Boeing 767-300 aircraft. The Airbus A340s were retired from the company in 2015, while the Boeing aircraft remain with LATAM for passenger and cargo operations.

    Los Angeles, Miami and New York were part of LAN’s U.S. schedule, and Madrid and Frankfurt considering Europe.

    Part of the services to the United States were with stopovers in different Latin American countries, such as Perú, Ecuador, Colombia, Venezuela, Cuba, Dominican Republic and Mexico.
