Avianca Introduces Business Class on Bogotá-Los Angeles Route from July 2023
Avianca has announced that starting from July 1st, 2023, customers will have the option to fly in business class on the Bogotá-Los Angeles route. The purchase of tickets to travel in business class will be available from June 1st on avianca.com, travel agencies, and other airline channels.
Some of the benefits available to customers traveling in business class include the choice of three dinner or lunch options, a selection of hot and cold beverages, spirits, a complimentary entertainment system, among other services.
Avianca offers a daily flight on the Bogotá-Los Angeles route using Boeing 787* aircraft, with 28 seats in the business class cabin and 222 seats in economy class. It is important to note that flights on this route may be operated on Wamos aircraft, which offer 34 seats in the business class cabin.
With this enhancement on the Bogotá-Los Angeles route, Avianca aims to provide a more comfortable and comprehensive travel experience to its customers. The airline has listened to passenger feedback and made internal adjustments to implement the option to fly in the business class cabin on flights of approximately 8 hours. The route between Bogotá and Los Angeles has seen significant development, which motivated this decision.
Customers who choose to fly in business class between Bogotá and Los Angeles will be able to enjoy a number of additional services, such as a welcome drink, dinner or lunch with 3 menu options to choose from and a snack, a selection of hot, cold beverages and spirits, blanket and pillow kit, amenity kit, and mattress pad for overnight flights, as well as access to a complimentary entertainment system.
