Amerijet Debuts in its New Base at Felipe Angeles International Airport in Mexico
At 1:07 on Sunday, the 6th, the first flight of Amerijet International Airlines from Miami landed at its new operations base in the Mexican capital, Felipe Ángeles International Airport (AIFA) in Santa Lucía.
This move was the result of the Mexican government’s mandate to prohibit all cargo operations at the Mexico City International Airport (AICM) to mitigate air traffic congestion.
The first flight of Amerijet at AIFA was carried out with a Boeing 767-300F, registration number N432AX. After unloading and loading operations, the aircraft departed at 3:35 and arrived in Miami at 8:16 local time.
Amerijet will conduct a weekly flight between AIFA and the Miami International Airport, the main hub of its cargo operations.

As a solution, the all-cargo airline now offers bonded trucking services that connect NLU to Mexico City International Airport (MEX), Querétaro Intercontinental Airport (QRO), Monterrey International Airport (MTY), and Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla Guadalajara International Airport (GDL),» they stated in a press release, where they also highlighted their more than 30 years of service to Mexico, serving industries such as automotive, pharmaceutical, aerospace, and perishables.
Their fleet consists of 6 Boeing 757-200, 5 Boeing 767-200, and 13 Boeing 767-300 aircraft, covering destinations in the Americas and Europe.
