These new services offer greater connectivity to the Indian region of Kerala, boosting tourism and economic activity. In 2023, it will resume non-stop connections to Kolkata, a key destination connecting eastern India and global destinations. It will also be strengthening routes to Delhi and Mumbai, operating both with four daily flights.

Etihad’s expansion in 2024 continues with the introduction of flights to Boston from 31 March, Nairobi from 1 May and the summer schedule includes services to Nice, Mykonos and Santorini.

«Convenient and seamless connections in Abu Dhabi ensure our guests can easily access destinations across the GCC, Europe – including our four daily services to London – and North America. They also have the opportunity to enjoy a fantastic stopover in Abu Dhabi as an integral part of their journey,» said Antonoaldo Neves, Etihad CEO.

Flight EY 248 departs Abu Dhabi (AUH) at 14:40 and lands in Kozhikode (CCJ) at 19:55. The return EY 249 departs CCJ at 21:30 and arrives at 00:05 the following day. All at local times.
