The low-cost airline’s summer schedule at Brussels-Charleroi will include 126 routes and the introduction of new services to Amman (Jordan), Cork (Ireland), Dubrovnik (Croatia), Gothenburg (Sweden), Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina) and Tirana (Albania).

With the introduction of additional Boeing 737s, the total fleet based in Brussels-Charleroi will have 18 aircraft. Ryanair estimates an 8% increase in passenger traffic, aiming to reach 10.4 million passengers by the end of 2024.

With the launch of the new routes, Ryanair will have promotional offers on tickets starting at €19.99 each way.

In an aside during the press event, Ryanair presented its recent petition «PROTECT PASSENGERS – KEEP EU SKIES OPEN» to the European Commission. The petition, signed by two million passengers, urges European Union President Ursula von der Leyen to safeguard passenger flights by keeping European skies open during air traffic control strikes.

The petition highlights that in 2023 there were 67 days of air traffic control strikes, resulting in the cancellation of numerous flights, without Ursula von der Leyen’s Commission taking decisive action to protect passengers.
