    As part of the Singapore Air Show 2024, Thai Airways has placed an order for and purchased 45 Boeing 787s equipped with GEnx engines, with the potential to acquire 80 Dreamliners. The specific carrier has secured conversion between aircraft within the Boeing 787 family, providing flexibility to meet changing market demands.

    In addition, Thai Airways has secured an option to acquire the Boeing 777X as part of the agreement, optimizing its fleet with superior range, capacity, and performance.     This landmark order demonstrates Thai Airways’ growth to achieve a modern and sustainable fleet and ensure a better travel experience. The 45 new Boeing 787 Dreamliners will be added to the airline’s fleet over the next ten years, with the first delivery scheduled to begin in 2027.
