    Delta Air Lines will resume nonstop flights from Tampa International Airport to Europe with a seasonal service to Amsterdam. Schiphol Airport is the main hub for KLM, Delta’s transatlantic partner and a member of the Skyteam alliance.

    Delta has service from Atlanta, Boston, Detroit, Minneapolis/St. Paul, New York JFK, Portland, Salt Lake City, Seattle-Tacoma, and Orlando to Amsterdam.

    «We are very grateful to Delta for creating a premier European connection through this nonstop service to Amsterdam, which we know will be very popular with both Tampa Bay area residents and European travelers who want to enjoy our sun, beaches and other attractions this winter,» said Joe Lopano, Airport General Manager, said.

    Flight Schedule

    Starts October 26, 2024 and ends March 29, 2025.

    • Amsterdam (AMS) 12:43 – Tampa (TPA) 16:55 daily flights.
    • Tampa (TPA) 19:55 – Amsterdam (AMS) 10:45+1 daily flights.

    The route is operated on 282-seat Airbus A330-300 aircraft with 34 Delta One, 21 Premium Select, 24 Delta Comfort+ and 203 Main Cabin seats. Delta last operated between Tampa and Amsterdam in 2019, since when passengers have clamored for the route’s return.

    Nonstop services from Tampa provides travelers with connections to more than 100 destinations in KLM’s network in Europe and beyond, to destinations such as Delhi, Mumbai, Dubai, Nairobi and more.

    «By seamlessly linking the vibrant international hub of Amsterdam – Delta’s most-served airport in Europe – with the famous beaches of Tampa Bay, Delta offers customers a gateway to explore the best of Europe and America,» said Matteo Curcio, Delta’s senior vice president for Europe, Middle East, Africa and India.

    Delta offers the fifth European service from Tampa International Airport complementing the operation of British Airways from London-Gatwick, Virgin Atlantic from London-Heathrow, Virgin Atlantic from London-Heathrow, Discover Airlines from Frankfurt and Edelweiss from Zurich. The new connection to Amsterdam is estimated to have a potential economic impact of $107 million, according to some estimates.
