Alaska Airlines continues to expand its domestic network from Portland with the scheduling of seasonal service to New Orleans. Alaska has been the largest carrier in Portland for more than two decades and continues its offering of new destinations.
«We are eager to offer another convenient way to connect our West Coast guests to New Orleans, a city rich in history and culture,» said Kirsten Amrine, vice president of revenue management and network planning for Alaska Airlines.
New Orleans will be Alaska’s 55th nonstop destination from Portland. In recent months, the airline has added new service from Portland such as Nashville which began this spring and Atlanta which begins Oct. 1, and is adding more conveniently timed flights to existing and popular destinations, operating up to 100 daily flights from Portland this summer, including Anchorage, Ontario, Reno and Santa Rosa.

Flight Schedule
Starts January 6, 2025 and ends May 14, 2025.
- Portland – New Orleans Flight AS 1266 PDX 09:05 – MSY 15:30 daily flights.
- New Orleans – Portland Flight AS 1267 MSY 16:35 – PDX 19:50 daily flights.
Flights will be operated in Boeing 737-900ER aircraft with 178 seats in total: 16 First Class, 24 Premium Class and 138 in Economy. The airline will soon open a new Alaska Lounge in Portland, estimated to open in 2026 and featuring about 4,000 square meters.
