Whe the pandemic forced borders to be closed and flights restricted, we did not know in how long and in what way we would fly again. Despite this, Wingo continued working and today continues its bet on the Colombian market and the reactivation of tourism. With this in mind, the low-cost airlines decided to open new routes and add a fifth aircraft to its fleet: a Boeing 737-800 NG.
“At Wingo we work tirelessly to meet our goal of giving thousands of people access to low-cost, but high-quality air transportation; today we are very proud to announce the arrival of a new aircraft with which we will continue to strengthen ourselves as Colombia’s favorite low-cost airline ”, said Carolina Cortizo, CEO of Wingo.
The new airplane (registration HP-1711CMP) will enter into service on October 23, and previously was part of Wingo’s parent airline Copa Airlines.
