LATAM Airlines announced that it will restart scheduled flights from Asunción on November 2, 2020 after sevent months.
The airline will flight to Sao Paulo (Brazil), Santiago de Chile and Lima (Peru) with Airbus A320.
As expected, the restart of operations will be with reduced frequencies, compared to the flights that LATAM offered before the pandemic. Flights will increase once demand grows.
The fare from Asunción to Sao Paulo starts at USD 149, while from Asunción to Santiago de Chile, it starts at USD 100.
The Asunción – Lima route fare starts at $ 169 dollars.
LATAM confirmed that it will not fly from Asunción to Buenos Aires, Argentina. This rout will be operated by Paranair and the tickets will be offered in codeshare with LATAM Airlines.
Asunción continues to increase its international connectivity, effectively complying with the security protocols for the containment of the coronavirus, which allows it to continue working to restart new flights and destinations around the world. Scheduled flights in Paraguay will restart on October 21, 2020.
