Qatar Airways just announced the increase in frequencies on the route between Doha and São Paulo to a total of 10 flights per week. In addition, it expanded the codeshare agreement with LATAM Airlines Brasil.
This agreement will allow Qatar Airways passengers to book flights to more than 40 additional destinations in which LATAM Brazil operates and vice versa. For example destinations such as Brasilia, Curitiba, Porto Velho, Rio Branco, Rio de Janeiro, San José, Lima, Montevideo, and Santiago de Chile.
Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Officer Akbar Al Baker said: «By increasing São Paulo services to 10 weekly flights and expanding our codeshare agreement with LATAM Airlines Brasil, we will further consolidate our position as the airline of choice for our customers that travel between Asia, the Middle East, and South America. »
For his part, the CEO of LATAM Brazil, Jerome Cadier, said: “We are expanding connectivity and the choice of destinations for our clients. Even in such a difficult year as 2020, we are committed to offering our passengers more options to travel further with greater comfort and simplicity. »
Qatar flies to São Paulo with its Airbus A350-1000, with a configuration of 327 seats in two cabins: 46 seats in Business Class (with the new Qsuite) and 281 in Economy Class.
