LATAM announced that it will resume flights between São Paulo / Guarulhos and Lisbon from April 22, after the Portuguese authorities have given the go-ahead.
The route will once again be operated by the airline’s Boeing 767-300s and, in the remainder of April, it will be covered with two weekly frequencies. In May it will change to five times a week and it is expected that by June it will have a daily flight.
The departure time from the Brazilian city varies according to the day of the week, but is always scheduled in the time slot between 4:30 PM and 5:30 PM.
The return flight from the Portuguese capital will be operated around the time slot between 09:00 and 09:50.
Flights between São Paulo and Lisbon had been suspended on January 29 as a result of the restrictions imposed by the Portuguese government.
In any case, according to reports from our partner in Brazil, Aeroin.net, LATAM indicated that only essential trips that meet certain requirements of the authorities of the European country are allowed, including isolation for 14 days upon arrival.
