Qatar Airways announced the signing of a codeshare agreement with oneworld’s newest member, Alaska Airlines, further strengthening its position as the ideal choice for international passengers traveling to and from the United States.
Qatar Airways will be Alaska Airlines’ only partner in the Middle East, providing seamless connectivity between the American airline’s hubs and the Gulf Airline’s global network of more than 140 destinations through the Hamad International Airport in Doha.
Beginning July 1, 2021, the agreement will allow Qatar Airways passengers to book trips and easily connect to more than 150 Alaska routes, including Portland, Las Vegas, San Diego, Phoenix, Salt Lake City, Denver, San Jose , Anchorage and Vancouver.
The second phase of the agreement will allow Alaska Airlines passengers to book trips on all Qatar Airways flights between the US and Qatar and beyond to their favorite destinations in Africa, the Middle East and South Asia.
