Easyfly recently announced in a press release that it will fly start flying between Medellín and Valledupar, the capital city of the department of César, in northeastern Colombia.
The operation will be carried out twice a week. The route will be the 19th destination operated by the airline from the city of Medellín. This makes it the airline with the most direct routes to and from Olaya Herrera Airport.
The Medellín – Valledupar – Medellín route will be operated on Mondays and Fridays in ATR42 aircraft with a capacity for 48 passengers. The schedule will be as follows:
- Medellín – Valledupar: departure 9:45 A.M.
- Valledupar – Medellín: departure 11:45 A.M.
With this route Easyfly consolidates its operation in the Antioquia region, where it has mobilized more than 400,000 passengers since regular air operations were reactivated. From Olaya Herrera Airport, the company flies to Cali, Armenia, Manizales, Arauca, Yopal, Florencia, Pasto, Popayán, Apartadó, Corozal, Montería, Villavicencio, Bucaramanga, Cúcuta, Pereira, Quibdó, Ibagué and Neiva.
