Frontier Airlines adds nine routes from Miami including Aruba

The U.S. low-cost carrier inaugurated new connections from its hub at Miami International Airport (MIA), which includes eight domestic connections and one international connection by adding Aruba to its network. The new services increase to 36 nonstop destinations at Miami International Airport.

«We are pleased to continue Frontier’s tremendous growth in Miami with the launch of eight new routes this week from a diverse and attractive range of destinations». said Daniel Shurz, Senior Vice President of Commercial at Frontier Airlines.

«In addition, this new service offers Miami-area residents access to desired destinations throughout the country and beyond, with expanded international service to Aruba coming soon,» concluded Shurz.

According to data obtained by Aviacionline through Cirium, Frontier Airlines has a 4.1% seat offer at Miami, becoming the fifth-largest U.S. carrier at the airport. Rival Spirit Airlines is the second-largest carrier with 6.5%, and Southwest is fourth with 4.8%.
