Sunrise Airways announced the addition of a second Embraer 120ER aircraft that will be based in its Port au Prince (PAP) hub to increase its domestic operations and flights to the Dominican Republic.

The Haitian airline currently operates a fleet of 19-seat British Aerospace Jetstream 32, 30-passenger Embraer 120ER, and is awaiting the addition of a 180-seat Airbus A320.
Sunrise operates from Haiti to several cities in Cuba including Havana (HAV), Santiago de Cuba (SCU), Holguin (HOG), and Camaguey (CMW) -currently suspended. It also links Santo Domingo/La Isabela (JBQ) with Port-au-Prince (PAP) and Cap Haitien (CAP). Domestically, it also flies to Les Cayes (CYA) and Jérémie (JEE).
With the gradual opening of Cuba’s borders, the airline expects to resume operations by November and recover its international connectivity.
