Aeromexico surpassed 400 cargo flights during the pandemic, with the 401st flight departing from Mexico City to Hong Kong. Since the beginning of the health crisis, the airline reported that more than 10,000 tons of cargo have been transported so far.

The company emphasizes the performance of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, the aircraft that Aeromexico uses on long-haul flights. With this aircraft, it was able to ship products to 18 countries on several continents. In this way, Aeromexico has been able to reach Europe, Asia and the three Americas with essential material at this time of year. They transported 7,000 tons of medical supplies, 43 and a half tons of vaccines, and 46 tons of active ingredients for the production of vaccines.

«These 401 exclusive cargo charter flights are making history for Aeromexico and for our country. They have been the result of the coordination and the sum of the will of those who are part of this great family, of the Mexican Government, and of the different countries and companies that have trusted in our capabilities and in the highest safety standards with which we perform each flight and deliver each kilo of cargo using a modern, efficient and increasingly environmentally-friendly fleet,» said Alejandro Méndez, Senior Vice President of Aeroméxico’s cargo division.
