Azores Airlines has started yesterday its new operation between Madeira (FNC) and New York (JFK), being the first transatlantic link from Cristiano Ronaldo International Airport, and the flight will be available during the boreal winter season until March 23, 2022.
Flight Itinerary
- Madeira – New York Flight S4 263 FNC 16:00 – JFK 18:50 – one flight per week on Monday.
- New York – Madeira Flight S4 262 JFK 20:50 – FNC 08:05+1 – one weekly flight on Monday.
Flights will be operated on Airbus A321neo aircraft configured with 16 business class seats and 170 economy class seats.

During the winter, Azores will continue to operate from Ponta Delgada (PDL) to Boston (BOS) with four weekly flights and Toronto (YYZ) with two weekly frequencies on 190-seat Airbus A321LR aircraft.
By the summer of 2022, it will resume transatlantic flights from Terceira (TER) to Toronto (YYZ) and Boston (BOS) and will resume to Montreal (YUL) from Ponta Delgada (PDL) as of June 4, 2022. The airline’s transatlantic offer will consist of four destinations between the United States and Canada.
