Binter inaugurated yesterday its flights between Gran Canaria (LPA) and A Coruña (LCG) with two weekly frequencies operated by 132-seat Embraer 195-E2. The company offers, as usual, connections to other destinations in the Canary archipelago without extra cost. With this new destination, Binter’s network now reaches 13 cities.

Flight Itinerary

  • Gran Canaria – A Coruña NT5200 LPA 15:10 – LCG 18:55 – two weekly flights on Thursday and Sunday.
  • A Coruña – Gran Canaria NT5201 LCG 19:45 – LPA 21:35 – two weekly flights on Thursday and Sunday.

Binter will be competing with Vueling on the connection between the Canary Islands and A Coruña (LCG). IAG’s low-cost subsidiary offers flights from Gran Canaria (LPA) and Tenerife Norte (TFN).

Figures obtained by Aviacionline through Aena Estadísticas indicate that between January and October 2021, 11,688 passengers were transported from A Coruña (LCG) to the Canary Islands, representing a recovery of 51.87% compared to the same period in 2019.

During the inaugural flight has traveled the Canary expedition Up2u Project, who will travel in a span of 3 days the Camino de Santiago in solidarity with the island of La Palma.
