LATAM to increase flights to Montevideo

Due to an increase in demand, LATAM will increase its operations to Montevideo from Santiago de Chile. Flights will be carried out on Airbus A320-200s, configured with 174 seats.

Sao Paulo and Lima, the company’s destinations to and from the Uruguayan capital, will maintain the eight and three weekly services, respectively.

LATAM will have a daily frequency between the capitals of Chile and Uruguay starting January 1st, 2022. The carrier currently operates five times a week.

With this schedule, LATAM Chile will offer 1,218 weekly seats between Santiago de Chile and Montevideo and vice versa.

As before the pandemic, LATAM will be the airline with the largest number of connections in Uruguay. Between Montevideo and Punta del Este, the company will have more than three daily flights during the high season.
