Aeromexico inaugurated Thursday 16, its regular flights between Monterrey (MTY) and Madrid (MAD), which marks the airline’s return to the route after more than a decade, once it had been suspended in 2009.

Flight itinerary:
- Monterrey – Madrid AM34 MTY 15:05 – MAD 08:00+1 three weekly flights on Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday.
- Madrid – Monterrey AM35 MAD 23:35 – MTY 04:50+1 three weekly flights on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

Operations will be carried out in Aeromexico’s flagship aircraft, the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner with a capacity of 274 seats with a cabin configuration of 36 in Premier Class, 27 in AM Plus and 211 in economy class.
Flight AM35 took off from Barajas Airport at 23:52 local time and landed at 03:44 in Monterrey, the only aerodrome of Grupo Aeroportuario Centro Norte OMA with a connection to Europe.

For the northern winter season, Aeromexico will offer 20 weekly flights and a capacity of more than 10,000 seats per week to Madrid (MAD) from three Mexican cities: Mexico City (MEX), Guadalajara (GDL), and Monterrey (MTY), surpassing 2019 levels.
