William Shaw, CEO of the company, said that with this first aircraft, the Colombian aeronautical authority will implement a number of procedures of the fourth phase of certification to verify its airworthiness, the regulatory hours of check flights, evacuation protocols, and the training of flight attendants, among others.
«We already have our aircraft in Colombia. This first milestone is bringing us closer to the accomplishment of a dream that many have bet on with the conviction of providing a new alternative for travelers, friendly and with the fairest prices in the market,» said Shaw.
In the first phase, Ultra Air will operate domestic flights, then it will extend its services to international operations to Peru, Mexico, and the United States.
