Conviasa restarts regular flights between Caracas and Havana

After more than 20 months, last December 22 Conviasa resumed its regular commercial operations between Venezuela and Cuba on the Caracas (CCS) – Havana (HAV) route with two weekly frequencies operated in Embraer 190 of 104 passengers in a single configuration.

On December 18, 2021, the National Institute of Civil Aeronautics (INAC) issued a notification that enabled Cuba’s entry to the list of countries with international flights allowed in Venezuelan territory, joining Mexico, Dominican Republic, Turkey, Bolivia, Russia, and Panama.

As of January 2022, the state-owned airline put on sale in its website the availability of flights between Havana (HAV) and Managua (MGA), where passengers will be able to fly from Caracas (CCS) to Nicaragua via Cuba, as well as through Panama.

Conviasa’s international network consists of the following destinations: Toluca (TLC), Moscow (VKO), Santo Domingo (SDQ), Santa Cruz de la Sierra (VVI), Panama – Tocumen (PTY) Managua (MGA), and Havana (HAV).

The state-owned company also offers special flights to Madrid (MAD), Buenos Aires (EZE), Santiago (SCL), Lima (LIM), Quito (UIO), and Guayaquil (GYE).
