During the northern summer season Volotea will operate new routes in the Mediterranean from several of its bases in France, thereby expanding the holiday offer to Spain, Italy and Greece.
Spain
- From May 12, it will operate the Lyon (LYS) – Menorca (MAH) route with a weekly flight on Thursdays, offering 5,688 seats.
- Volotea is the second airline offering the second most destinations at Saint-Exupéry Airport (LYS) with 28 in Europe and North Africa.
Greece
The low-cost carrier will expand its offer from the Greek capital to 13 destinations with two new connections:
- Athens (ATH) – Bordeaux (BOD) from May 28 with two flights a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays, with 9,000 seats on offer.
- Athens (ATH) – Nantes (NTE) from May 29 with two weekly frequencies, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, with 10,000 seats on offer.
- A new route between Nantes (NTE) – Zakynthos (ZTH) will also be added as of June 2 with one weekly flight, on Thursday, with a 5,000-seat offering.

Volotea started operations in Athens (ATH) in 2015, since then it has mobilized more than 3.5 million passengers and operated more than 31,000 flights.
Italy
The low-cost airline will debut two new connections to the island of Sardinia bringing to 20 the number of destinations served from there.
- Nice (NCE) – Cagliari (CAG), starting May 30, with two flights a week, on Mondays and Thursdays, with an offer of 10,800 seats. Volotea offers 10 destinations from Côte d’Azur Airport (NCE).
- Lille (LIL) – Cagliari (CAG), starting June 2, with a weekly flight on Thursdays, offering 4,368 seats. Volotea offers 10 destinations from Lesquin Airport (LIL).
In both cases, it will be the only airline operating the routes.
