After nearly two years, Aer Lingus resumed its transatlantic flights at Shannon Airport (SNN). The company also reinstated services to Boston (BOS) on March 10 and from March 11 to New York (JFK).

Both services will operate daily flights on 184-seat Airbus A321LRs in two classes (16 Business/168 Economy) and will continue throughout the year. The last transatlantic operation at Shannon (SNN) was on March 21, 2020, following travel restrictions during the health crisis.

Data obtained by Aviacionline through Cirium, Aer Lingus will offer more than 22,000 seats per month on more than 120 flights between Shannon (SNN) and the United States during the 2022 summer season, surpassing the company’s pre-covid offer, in addition to being the only airline operator on the two routes it operates.
