Sun Country Airlines announces four new routes

Sun Country Airlines expands operations for the 2022 summer season, the leisure airline is adding four new routes, including additional service to Mexico.

As part of the announcement, the carrier unveiled the extension of its current schedule through mid-December 2022, offering travelers greater access to more than 70 vacation destinations to visit this summer and fall.

“We look forward to welcoming guests onboard, complimentary non-alcoholic beverage service, and comfortable reclining seats with power seat control on their way to the next great vacation,” said Grant Whitney, chief revenue officer for Sun Country Airlines.

With this renewed expansion, Sun Country Airlines will operate more than 100 scheduled service routes at 81 airports in North America, Central America and the Caribbean.

From Minneapolis (MSP)
  • Destination: Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO)
  • Start date: September 1, 2022
  • Frequency: twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays
  • Fares start at $69 USD
From Green Bay – Austin Straubel (GRB)
  • Destination: Las Vegas (LAS)
  • Start date: September 9, 2022
  • Frequency: twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays
  • Fares from $79 USD
From Dane County (MSN)
  • Destination: Las Vegas (LAS)
  • Start Date: September 9, 2022
  • Frequency: twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays
  • Fares from $79
From Harlingen, Texas (HRL)
  • Destination: Cancun (CUN)
  • Beginning: June 1, 2022
  • Frequency: twice weekly on Wednesdays and Saturdays
  • Fares from 129 USD
