Finnair has unveiled its schedule for the 2022-2023 winter season, in consequence of the closure of Russian airspace, the Finnish airline will expand its offering in the United States with five destinations, in addition to 10 from Asia and 62 in Europe.
The carrier will also offer long-haul flights from Stockholm – Arlanda (ARN) to the United States and Thailand.

U.S. schedule for winter 2022-2023
Helsinki (HEL)
- New York (JFK) daily flights on Airbus A330-300.
- Los Angeles (LAX) three weekly flights on Airbus A350-900.
- Miami (MIA) three weekly flights on Airbus A330-300.
- Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) four weekly flights on Airbus A350-900.
- Chicago O’ Hare (ORD) four weekly flights on Airbus A330-300.
Stockholm – Arlanda (ARN)
- New York (JFK) three weekly flights on Airbus A350-900.
- Los Angeles (LAX) three weekly flights on Airbus A350-900.
- Miami (MIA) three weekly flights on Airbus A350-900.
All flights to the United States will be available in the company’s new Business Class and Premium Economy cabins.
In Asia, Finnair will continue to offer services to Delhi (DEL), Singapore (SIN), Seoul – Incheon (ICN) and Tokyo Narita (NRT) with daily flights connecting to the airline’s extensive European network. Mumbai (BOM), the airline’s newest destination, will be available during the winter with four flights a week, and the company expects to offer daily flights to Hong Kong (HKG) and Shanghai (PVG) once a week.
To meet holiday demand, Finnair will offer an extended schedule from Thailand from Helsinki (HEL) will offer two daily flights to Bangkok (BKK), three weekly flights to Phuket (HKT) and twice a week to Krabi (KBV). From Stockholm – Arlanda (ARN) will fly to Bangkok (BKK) and Phuket (HKT) with two flights a week to each destination.
Due to the closure of Russian space, Finnair will maintain suspended operations to Tokyo Haneda (HND), Nagoya (NGO), Osaka (KIX) and Sapporo (CTS). Due to the health situation in China several destinations remain off schedule during the winter season.
From Europe, the Finnish flag carrier will offer approximately 60 destinations, including daily flights to most major European capitals, in order to serve the needs of business and leisure passengers.
Finnair offers connections from Europe to its entire long-haul network, as well as to the popular winter destinations of Ivalo, Kittlä and Rovaniemi in Finnish Lapland.
