Sunrise Airways and Air Caraïbes establish interline agreement

Sunrise Airways and Air Caraïbes signed an interline code agreement, allowing passengers from the Haitian provinces to easily connect to Paris, France.

Sunrise currently operates Jetstream 32 and Embraer 120 aircraft from Port-au-Prince (PAP) to Les Cayes (CYA) with three daily flights, Cap-Haitien (CAP) with two daily flights and Jeremie (JEE) with four weekly flights.

“This partnership reinforces our desire to serve even better, together with Air Caraïbes, our Haitian passengers and all those departing from Paris and wishing to go to the Haitian provinces,” said Phillippe Bayard, President and CEO of Sunrise Airways.

Established in 2009, Sunrise Airways is the leading Haitian carrier that in addition to its domestic flights flies to Santo Domingo/La Higuera (JBQ) in the Dominican Republic; and Havana (HAV) and Santiago de Cuba (SCU) in Cuba.

“We are pleased to offer our Haitian customers simplified domestic connections. This partnership with Sunrise Airways confirms our historical ties with the Caribbean, always at the service of our customers,” stated Edmond Richard, Deputy CEO of Air Caraïbes.

Air Caraïbes has been serving Haiti for twelve years from Paris/Orly (ORY). It currently operates one flight a week (Tuesdays), and will increase to two flights a week (Mondays and Wednesdays) as of June 13.
