U.S. airline Taos Air, which operates scheduled public charter flights, announced the return of its summer season services in California and Texas. Starting June 30th, the carrier will inaugurate its schedule flights to and from Austin-Bergstrom (AUS), Dallas-Love Field (DAL), Los Angeles-Hawthorne Municipal (HHR) and Carlsbad McClellan-Palomar Airport (CLD). It will use the two Dornier 328JETs that compose its fleet.
Operations will take place from and to the company’s home base at Taos Regional Airport (TSM), a public-use airfield near the city of Taos, New Mexico.
According to the airline, «service resumes just in time for Texas and California based travelers to enjoy Rocky Mountain adventures» and for Taos locals to «escape to their own summer vacation».
As usual, Taos Air will offer a public charter service «at the price of a commercial flight ticket».
«We are delighted to restart our summer service so visitors can come to Taos and experience the rich spiritual traditions, fine arts, distinctive cuisine and natural beauty of the landscape», commented Joe Zvada, the company’s Director of Aviation.
Summer service will begin on June 30th and end next September 26th. Taos Air will serve Austin on Thursdays and Sundays, Dallas and Los Angeles on Mondays and Fridays, and Carlsbad on Sundays and Thursdays.
