In the run-up to the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup, Qatar Airways is increasing its flights to several key destinations, including Sao Paulo/Guarulhos (GRU) in Brazil, which will have up to three daily flights.

Currently, the airline operates two daily flights on Boeing 777-300ER aircraft with a capacity of 354 passengers, an offer of 9,912 seats per week.

But between November 16 and December 20, the company added a third daily flight with the same aircraft, increasing its seat offer by 33% with 14,868 seats per week during those dates.
