The French Riviera welcomes five transatlantic services

The French Riviera is one of the main tourist destinations in the Mediterranean during the northern summer season, with attractions such as the Cannes Film Festival and the popular resorts of Monte Carlo and the Principality of Monaco.

Nice is the region’s main city and the Côte d’Azur Airport is France’s third busiest airfield.

With the easing of international travel, airlines resumed operations to the French Riviera after two consecutive summers without nonstop connections to North America, in addition to the arrival of a new entrant such as United Airlines.

Data obtained by Aviacionline through Cirium, indicates that during summer 2022 between Nice and North American there will be an offer of 38,000 seats per month, representing an increase of more than 10% over 2019 levels.
