Beginning this winter season, Delta Air Lines will increase the operation of widebody aircraft with Premium Select seating on routes to Hawaii including New York (JFK) – Honolulu (HNL) and Salt Lake City (SLC)/Atlanta (ATL) – Maui (OGG) routes.
“We continue to see unprecedented demand for our premium products, so we are providing our customers with access to nearly 330,000 premium seats to Hawaii this winter,” said Joe Esposito, senior vice president of network planning.
“Hawaii is a highly sought-after destination for families and adventurers alike, and we’re offering them more choice and convenience than ever before,” Esposito added.
Delta will be the only carrier to offer a nonstop service between Atlanta (ATL) and Maui (OGG), this route will begin November 19. On December 17, the airline will begin its new service between New York (JFK) – Honolulu (HNL) and a daily flight between Salt Lake City (SLC) and Kahului Airport (OGG). In total, the airline will offer 19 daily flights to four Hawaiian destinations from seven cities in the continental United States.
Delta Premium Select Experience
With the launch of Delta Premium Select on long-haul domestic flights, customers will be able to enjoy an enhanced amenity kit, noise-canceling headphones, a blanket made from recycled materials, a memory foam pillow, and a superior dining experience.
All passengers on these Hawaii flights will have access to in-flight Wi-Fi and enhanced in-flight entertainment, plus all seats have built-in USB ports.
The Premium Select product is currently available on nearly all of the airline’s transatlantic and transpacific flights, Delta aims to implement this product on other aircraft types and destinations in the coming years.

The flights will be operated on Boeing 767-400ER aircraft with a seating capacity of 238 (34 Delta One/20 Premium Select/28 Delta Comfort+/156 Economy).
Salt Lake City (SLC) – Maui (OGG)
- Flight DL 1184 SLC 15:20 – OGG 19:13
- Flight DL 1124 OGG 20:40 – SLC 05:40+1
The flights will be operated on Boeing 767-400ER aircraft with a seating capacity of 281 (29 Delta One Suites/28 Premium Select/56 Delta Comfort+/168 Economy).
