WestJet will bring back for the 2022/2023 winter season nine routes in Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean that were suspended two years ago. The resumption of these services provides greater connectivity for Canadian travelers, where they will be able to choose from a wide network of popular vacation destinations.
«The restart of these routes is another positive step in restoring our network as we solidify WestJet as the reliable, friendly and affordable airline we are,» said John Weatherill , WestJet’s executive vice president and chief commercial officer.
«We recognize that the past three winters have disrupted our guests’ travel plans and we look forward to reconnecting Canadians with some of the warmer destinations they’ve missed the most,» Weatherill added.
