This Friday (16), Conviasa performed the first flight in the history of Venezuela operated with an all-female crew. The crew in charge was commanded by Lorllys Andrea Palacios (Captain), Jasmin Acosta (First Officer), Rosyberth Caldero (Cabin Chief), Wilmari Lopéz and Stefany González (Cabin Crew).
The flight was operated in an Embraer E190 and performed a non-stop service between Santiago Mariño International Airport (PMV) and Simón Bolívar International Airport (CCS).
«For the first time in the history of Venezuelan aviation two women are driving the command of the Embraer E190 aircraft of the flag carrier, vindicating the role of women in civil aviation. My congratulations to these two revolutionary women, an example of self-improvement», said Ramón Celestino Velásquez Araguayán, President of Conviasa.
