Low-cost airline Transavia France, which is part of Air France-KLM, is to significantly expand its network during the current autumn and winter season with the launch of twenty new routes. It also announced that it will increase the size of its fleet with the addition of ten new aircraft by summer of 2023.

According to the company, it plans to have 71 aircraft in operation by the middle of next year, ten more than are currently available.

Transavia France’s fleet consists entirely of Boeing 737-800 aircraft. However, in December 2021 Air France-KLM announced an order to Airbus for one hundred A320neo family aircraft (and an option for an additional sixty) for KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Transavia and Transavia France.

Deliveries are scheduled to begin next summer. «The aim is to renew the KLM and Transavia fleets, as well as to renew and grow the Transavia France fleet», the parent company said at the time.
