Frontier Airlines will fly between St. Louis and Jamaica

Frontier Airlines is adding new seasonal service between St. Louis (STL) and Montego Bay, Jamaica (MBJ) beginning February 23, 2023, with three weekly flights. This is the third international route offered by the low-cost carrier from Lambert International Airport (STL), complemented by operations to Punta Cana (PUJ) and Cancun (CUN).

In addition to this new Caribbean connection, the Denver-based airline this winter will fly between St. Louis (STL) and Tampa (TPA). Starting November 8, the company will offer four other domestic destinations at STL: Denver (DEN), Las Vegas (LAS), Orlando (MCO) and Atlanta (ATL).

Frontier will be the airline offering the most nonstop service to Jamaica, and consumers can get there economically and conveniently with our ‘Low Fares Done Right,” said Daniel Shurz, senior vice president commercial, Frontier Airlines.

“We at STL look forward to Frontier’s seasonal nonstop service to Montego Bay on our airport schedule. Montego Bay is one of our passengers’ favorite destinations,” said airport manager Rhonda Hamm-Niebruegge.

Flight Itinerary

  • St. Louis – Montego Bay Flight F9 14 STL 10:17 – MBJ 14:52 Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.
  • Montego Bay – St. Louis Flight F9 15 MBJ 15:03 – STL 19:00 Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.

The route will be operated on Airbus A320neo aircraft with a capacity of 186 seats in single configuration and promotional fares are available from USD 99 one way. This service is subject to government approval.

In addition to this new operation, Frontier will offer three other non-stop services from Montego Bay (MBJ) to Atlanta (ATL), Orlando (MCO) and Philadelphia (PHL). The company also operates from Jamaica to Kingston (KIN) to two destinations: Miami (MIA) and Hartsfield – Jackson International Airport (ATL).

According to data obtained by Aviacionline through the Cirium platform, the Denver-based carrier for the northern winter season will offer 14,428 seats per week from St. Louis (STL) on 70 operations. Frontier will be the fourth-largest carrier at Lambert International Airport (STL).
