At 1:42 p.m. local time this Friday (4), Air Canada flight AC 1874 landed at Tocumen International Airport (PTY), marking the return of the company’s regular operations to Panama after more than two years of absence because of the pandemic.

The inaugural flight was operated with an Airbus A319, registration C-GSJB, which on entering the apron was greeted with the traditional water arch formed by the fire trucks of the airport’s firefighting service.

When disembarking, passengers were welcomed by people dressed in typical costumes of the area who also handed out Panamanian flags.

This service will be operated by Air Canada Rouge on Airbus A319 aircraft with 136 seats in two classes (12 Business Class/124 Economy).
