«We are happy to add Barcelona and Prague to our extensive summer schedule. Barcelona and Prague are exciting destinations, known for their art, culture and history. This is the first time we are offering scheduled flights to Prague and we also see great opportunities with the convenient and fast connection times for our flights between Barcelona and North America,» said Bogi Nils Bogason, CEO of Icelandair.
Meanwhile, Eva Bretos Cano, director of Discover the World Spain, Icelandair’s representative office in Spain, stated that they are proud to bring back direct flights between the two cities, and that «Icelandair has a long experience operating this route and the possibility of being able to connect conveniently via Reykjavik on flights to North America is a key differentiator that will boost connectivity between the two markets. Finally, Icelandair is widely known for its Iceland Stopover, which allows a stopover of up to 7 days in Iceland without any supplement in the ticket. An excellent option to combine destinations and add more value during the trip».
