Condor made the first commercial flight with its Airbus A330neo

On December 27 Condor started commercial operations with its first Airbus A330-900neo on the Frankfurt (FRA) and Mauritius (MRU) route. A celebration ceremony was held at the airport for the arrival of the new aircraft.

The A330neo registered with the registration D-ANRA and livery «Island» took off from Frankfurt Airport (FRA) at 16:26 local time and landed at Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport (MRU) at 06:13 the following day, after 10 hours and 47 minutes.

Flight Itinerary

  • Frankfurt – Mauritius Flight DE 2314 FRA 16:10 – MRU 06:40+1 Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
  • Mauritius – Frankfurt Flight DE 2315 MRU 08:30 – FRA 17:35 Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday.

The airline’s A330neo aircraft seat 310 passengers in three classes (30 Business Class/64 Premium Economy/216 Economy). Condor has taken delivery of two new long-haul aircraft this year and expects to receive another 16 units by 2024, replacing its entire fleet of Boeing 767-300ERs.

According to data compiled through Cirium, the German leisure airline is scheduled to fly the A330neo to Male, Maldives (MLE), Varadero, Cuba (VRA) and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic (PUJ).
