The Aeronautica Civil and the Ministry of Transportation of Colombia reported on the status of air operations between Colombia and Venezuela, with emphasis on the situation of Estelar:
- Venezuelan airline Estelar, announced its operations to Colombia as of December 28 in a charter service between Caracas (CCS) and Bogota (BOG).
- The application filed by Estelar to operate in Colombia is being analyzed for its corresponding authorization. Until it receives an approval it will not be able to operate in the country.
- It is important to highlight that the flight scheduled for December 28 will not be authorized, taking into account the aforementioned. In addition, the capacity limitation of El Dorado International Airport (BOG).
Currently, the airlines authorized by Aerocivil to fly between Colombia and Venezuela are: Wingo, LATAM, Avianca, Laser, Avior, Turpial Airlines and Satena.
