From May 5, 2023, Air France will offer non-stop flights between Cayenne, French Guiana (CAY) and Belém (BEL). The aircraft operating this service will follow the Pointe-à-Pitre (PTP), Fort-de-France (FDF), Cayenne (CAY), Belém (BEL) route, allowing customers from Guadeloupe and Martinique to reach Brazil without having to change planes.
The French airline continues to strengthen connectivity on its Caribbean Regional Network (CRN), a link that facilitates and promotes commercial and tourism exchanges between the territories. The airline has two narrowbody aircraft based in Pointe-à-Pitre (PTP) connecting to Fort-de-France (FDF), Cayenne (CAY) and Miami (MIA) throughout the year, with up to 23 weekly operations.
Flight Itinerary
- Cayenne – Belem Flight AF 602 CAY 15:40 – BEL 17:15 Friday.
- Belém – Cayenne Flight AF 603 BEL 09:35 – CAY 11:10 Saturday.
The route will be operated on Airbus A320 aircraft with a capacity of 168 passengers (12 Business Class/156 Economy) and equipped with Wi – Fi connection. Promotional fares are available from EUR 184 each way, tickets are already on sale.
The French airline currently offers services in Brazil from Paris (CDG) to São Paulo – Guarulhos (GRU), Rio de Janeiro (GIG), Fortaleza (FOR) and soon Belém (BEL). Brazil is the company’s main market in Latin America.
The international offer of Val de Cans Airport (BEL) includes the following services: Lisbon (LIS) operated by TAP Air Portugal, Paramaribo (PBM) operated by GOL and Surinam Airways, Fort Lauderdale (FLL) operated by Azul Linhas Aereas and soon French Guiana operated by Air France.
Most convenient schedules between the French Caribbean and Florida
Starting March 30, 2023, the airline will modify its schedule between Pointe-à-Pitre (PTP) and Miami (MIA) to offer convenient connections to customers coming from Cayenne (CAY) and Fort-de-France (FDF). These services are operated by Airbus A320 aircraft.
- Pointe-à-Pitre – Miami Flight AF 616 PTP 16:30 – MIA 19:55 Thursday and Saturday.
- Miami – Pointe-à-Pitre Flight AF 617 MIA 09:55 – PTP 13:10 Friday and Sunday.
This schedule is subject to change and is pending approval by government authorities.
