The innovative “backbone” design connects hangars and ancillary buildings, facilitating logistics management and resource sharing. These new maintenance facilities will also feature an innovative design. State-of-the-art green technology such as solar energy, intelligent building management systems, smart lighting controls, and water storage and air conditioning systems will be implemented. It will also feature advanced wastewater and air treatment.
